| About the Role |
| We are seeking a diligent Raw Material & Packing Material Inwarding, Storage & Issue Officer to manage the receipt, inspection, systematic storage, and timely issuance of all raw and packing materials at our paint manufacturing facility. This role is crucial for inventory accuracy, material quality, and supporting uninterrupted production. |
| Key Responsibilities |
| Material Inwarding: Receive, verify, and inspect incoming raw and packing materials. Coordinate with QC for approval. Generate GRNs in ERP. |
| Storage & Inventory: Ensure proper, systematic storage (safety, FIFO). Maintain optimal conditions. Conduct inventory counts and report discrepancies. |
| Material Issuance: Process requisitions, pick, and issue materials to production lines accurately and on time. Record transactions and manage returns. |
| Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols for material handling and storage (PPE, segregation, clean environment). Participate in audits. |
| Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all material movements. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports. |
| Coordination: Liaise with suppliers, QC, Production, and Procurement to resolve issues and communicate material status. |
| Required Qualifications |
| Diploma or Bachelor's in Logistics, Supply Chain, Materials Management, or related field. |
| 2-5 years of experience in warehouse/stores, preferably in the paint, coatings, chemicals, or related manufacturing industry. |
| Proven experience in raw material and packing material inwarding, inspection, storage, and issuance. |
| Familiarity with inventory management (FIFO) and warehouse best practices. |
| Basic knowledge of material handling equipment (forklift license a plus). |
| Understanding of safety regulations for hazardous materials. |
| Proficiency in ERP/inventory management software. |
| Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication. |
| Knowledge of paint raw materials/packing components. |
